- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 3 years required; must have delivery attendance experience 2. Cases: Must have experienced level III NICU nurse experience 3. Certifications: BLS, NRP, and STABLE required; copies required at submission 4. License: Valid LA License required at time of submission 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic experience required; GE-CPN in NOU and Medi-tech in NICU 7. Shifts/Call: Self scheduling; every other weekend obligation required; at least 1 major and 1 minor holiday required 8. RTO: One pre-approved time off allowed 9. Returning Staff: Any permanent employee at LCMC facility must be gone for at least 1 year to be considered for travel 10. Travel/Local: Must live more than 75 miles from facility or local rate applies 11. Background: Not specified 12. Modules: 5-8 hours for RN; non-billable; completed pre-start; recorded by facility education department 13. Travel Experience: Required; NO FIRST TIME TRAVELERS 14. Scrubs: Grape/Purple 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required - No Exemptions 16. Special Equipment: Cardiac/Respiratory monitors, pulse oximeters, ventilators, HFNC, CPAP, radiant heat warmers, isolettes, bili-meters, phototherapy, IV pumps Critical: Must have delivery attendance experience. Patient ratios 1:2-3 in NICU, may float to NOU with 1:4-6 ratios. COVID-19 vaccine required with medical/religious exemptions only. Driver's license/ID required with submission for local/traveler status verification.
