Requirements
- Required certification: RRT - Registered Respiratory Therapist
- 1+ years of experience
- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 1.5+ years required; PICU/NICU experience highly preferred 2. Cases: Adult and pediatric patient mix; blood gas, vent/BiPAP/High flow initiation and management, Code response, in-house transport, medication administration, Chest PT 3. Certifications: BLS and NBRC required; ACLS/PALS/NRP highly preferred but can obtain onsite; all certifications required at time of submission unless otherwise specified 4. License: Active NJ or Compact license required at time of submission 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: EPIC experience required 7. Shifts/Call: 3x12s; every other weekend (Fri/Sat); will float between PICU, ED, and Adult critical care 8. RTO: All time off MUST be sent with submittal and approved before offer; screenshot of RTO confirmation required; requests with less than 7 days RTO prioritized; must be available to work 2 of 3 holidays 9. Returning Staff: RWJBH staff must be gone minimum 1 year before eligible for travel assignments 10. Travel/Local: Locals accepted at same rate; first-time travelers accepted 11. Background: Open/active background hits and/or license hits NOT accepted 12. Modules: Non-billable; Allied average 1 hour; 4 hours EPIC training and up to 18 hours additional; completed pre-start and annually 13. Travel Experience: Not required as specified 14.
