- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required 2. Cases: Trauma Level I and Level II experience preferred 3. Certifications: ARRT R, BLS required; copies required with submissions 4. License: VA license required but can submit with pending; must have license in-hand Wednesday before start date; Nursys verification required for submittal 5. Education: BSN preferred 6. EMR: Epic experience required unless otherwise noted; Carestream portable machine familiarity helpful 7. Shifts/Call: Days 06:30-15:00 M-F; call responsibility for one 8-hour shift every 2 weeks; call could be weekdays 1600-0000 or 0000-0800, weekends 0800-1600, 1600-0000, or 0000-0800 8. RTO: Only guaranteed up to 40 hours per 13-week contract; no additional requests approved after acceptance 9. Returning Staff: Must inform Client Delivery Manager if previously employed at University of Virginia Health system; perm staff and internal travelers must be separated for one year and approved by leadership; external travelers cannot work more than 365 days regardless of time off between contracts 10. Travel/Local: 50-mile radius rule; locals not accepted for specified units including Diagnostic Rad Tech 11. Background: Must inform Client Delivery Manager if aware of background hits 12. Modules: Non-billable up to 16 hours, completed during orientation, vary by specialty, recorded in Workday 13. Travel Experience: Not specified as required 14. Scrubs: Not mentioned 15.
