Requirements

- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required; must have MS and oncology experience in checklist (1 year minimum); must meet experience requirements within the 3 most recent years with at least 1 year of CURRENT specialty experience for clinical pass; Heme Onc experience is strongly preferred 2. Cases: Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia, Acute Myeloid Leukemia, Amyloidosis, Aplastic Anemia, Chronic Leukemia, Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia, Chronic Myeloid Leukemia, Hodgkin's Lymphoma, Multiple Myeloma, Myelodysplastic Syndrome, Myeloproliferative Disorders, Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma 3. Certifications: BLS required; ACLS preferred; Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) Chemotherapy Certification preferred; chemo certification is NOT required 4. License: Valid compact or state license in hand at time of submission required 5. Education: Must be from an ACEN or CCNE accredited program 6. EMR: EPIC experience required 7. Shifts/Call: 12D/N rotating contract may include days, nights, or combination based on department needs; shift assignments reviewed every 4-week scheduling period 8. RTO: One pre-approved time off; RTO required with submission and must be built into contract 9. Returning Staff: Former employees eligible for travel assignment once away from facility for 6 months or more; current employees ineligible to be hired as traveler at any Ohio State University hospital location 10. Travel/Local: Locals accepted at the same rate; travel experience required; may float to other MedSurg Oncology units 11. Background: Not specified 12. Modules: 72 orientation hours 13.
