- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required; will accept 1st time travelers 2. Cases: Med/Surg with oncology history; chemotherapy administration; colostomy care, accessing ports, blood product administration, central line blood draw, peripheral line care, PICC line management, heparin, insulin, surgical drains, chest tubes, nasal cannula, non-invasive airway management, isolation precautions, wound care/wound vac 3. Certifications: BLS required; ONC CERT required; must be able to administer chemo; CPI and OCN preferred 4. License: NC or Compact license; pending OK for submittal 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: EPIC 7. Shifts/Call: Nights; call required if called off on prescheduled shift; every other weekend required 8. RTO: Up to 7 days auto approved (no holidays); must work 2 of 3 major holidays; no RTO during first week; all RTO must be pre-approved; cannot request additional RTO after signing 9. Returning Staff: Former Novant/New Hanover employees must wait 12 months before applying; disclosure required at submission 10. Travel/Local: Local candidates within 50 miles accepted at lower rate 11. Background: Not specified 12. Modules: Required; non-billable; expect 2-10 hours 13. Travel Experience: Will accept 1st time travelers 14. Scrubs: Navy blue and white 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required - medical/religious exemptions only 16.
