Cases: Med/Surg Intermediate/PCU, Telemetry, Cardiac Telemetry, Neuro Stepdown; patient diagnoses include Sepsis, wound care, ETOH, SI, Renal Failure, AFIB, GIB, Stroke, COVID 3. Certifications: BLS, NIHSS required; ACLS preferred; must be AHA certified 4. License: Missouri or Compact license required; Kansas and Missouri or compact required for floating between facilities 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic experience required; 3 hours pre-start EMR modules; choice of EPIC test out or EPIC module 7. Shifts/Call: 1:5 patient ratios; 8 weekend shifts every 6 weeks; holiday shifts as needed; no on-call required 8. RTO: Maximum 7 days (7+ requires approval, including holiday RTO) 9. Returning Staff: 18 months with 3-month break required; permanent BJC/Saint Lukes employees must wait 1 year 10.
