- 1+ years of experience
- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 1 year MS experience required; 18 months general experience required (1.5 years minimum) 2. Cases: Stroke, CHF, dementia/delirium, cellulitis, COPD, psych, withdrawal, end of life care, covid, dialysis 3. Certifications: BCLS and NIHSS required 4. License: Must be in hand prior to start date; temporary licenses obtainable once permanent license applications submitted 5. Education: University must be accredited by ACEN or CCNE at time of graduation 6. EMR: Cerner experience preferred; no specific charting required for IU health positions 7. Shifts/Call: 3x12s/4x12s; every other weekend required; must work 2 out of 3 major holidays 8. RTO: Auto-approve 5 days non-holiday RTO or less; anything more requires facility approval 9. Returning Staff: PERM or PRN employees must be away 12 months before applying as traveler; consecutive contract policy requires designated breaks after 12 months 10. Travel/Local: Indiana residents NOT accepted for MS, MS Tele, PCU, ICU, ER positions; locals accepted for Surgical Services, Allied, IU Clinics at lower rate 11. Background: Must note background policy prior to submission to seek approval prior to offer 12. Modules: Not specified 13. Travel Experience: First time travelers accepted 14. Scrubs: Not mentioned 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required - medical/religious exemptions only 16. Special Equipment: Lift equipment Critical: COVID vaccine required (effective 9/1).
