- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 1 year required; will consider first-time travelers only if they have post-op surgical experience (especially Orthopedics and Gastrointestinal surgeries) 2. Cases: 23-bed medical surgical unit caring for orthopedic, spine, general surgery and bariatric patients; receives 10-20 post-ops/day 3. Certifications: BLS required; ACLS not required; EKG onboarding exam required to pass 4. License: Compact or KY State License required at time of submission; will not accept any licensure hits 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Not specified 7. Shifts/Call: Patient ratios 5:1 days/nights/weekends; float to like units required; weekend coverage required 8. RTO: Must be presented at time of submission; any time off sent after offer will not be approved; two pre-approved time off allowed 9. Returning Staff: Must be gone for 6 months to return as traveler; must disclose if previously worked at facility for rehire eligibility check 10. Travel/Local: 100-mile radius; locals not accepted 11. Background: No license hits accepted; submission will be rejected if license hits present 12.
