Epic Travel Staffing is hiring an Interim – Nurse Education Manager

Shift: Non-exempt, Variable, 8×5, 40 hrs per week, must be flexible for both schedules

Duration: 13 weeks

Requirements:

• Active NY RN License
• Minimum 2 years of experience
• Critical Care, Med-Surg, or Stepdown experience required
• Progressive experience in Education and Management/Administration and the assigned clinical specialty
• ACLS
• BLS
• ONS Chemotherapy Administration Certification (required if assigned to oncology)
• Professional Board certification in clinical specialty (preferred)
• Master’s degree in Nursing or a related healthcare field with Nursing Education and/or Leadership experience, OR Bachelor of Science in Nursing; candidates enrolled in a graduate program considered with committed graduation dates
• Master’s in Nursing Education (preferred)

Other Details:

• Excellent organizational skills required
• Position covers 3 units: 7E, 9E, and 8W
• Leads nursing practice and education; serves as a role model and preceptor for new staff and students
• Oversees development and implementation of the nursing education budget, including capital equipment allocation
• Must be flexible to work both 4×10 and 5×8 schedules
• Accepting both local and travel candidates
