Epic Travel Staffing is hiring an Interim - Nurse Education Manager

Shift: Non-exempt, Variable, 8x5, 40 hrs per week, must be flexible for both schedules

Duration: 13 weeks

Requirements:

Active NY RN License
Minimum 2 years of experience
Critical Care, Med-Surg, or Stepdown experience required
Progressive experience in Education and Management/Administration and the assigned clinical specialty
ACLS
BLS
ONS Chemotherapy Administration Certification (required if assigned to oncology)
Professional Board certification in clinical specialty (preferred)
Master's degree in Nursing or a related healthcare field with Nursing Education and/or Leadership experience, OR Bachelor of Science in Nursing; candidates enrolled in a graduate program considered with committed graduation dates
Master's in Nursing Education (preferred)

Other Details:

Excellent organizational skills required
Position covers 3 units: 7E, 9E, and 8W
Leads nursing practice and education; serves as a role model and preceptor for new staff and students
Oversees development and implementation of the nursing education budget, including capital equipment allocation
Must be flexible to work both 4x10 and 5x8 schedules
Accepting both local and travel candidates
