- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required; first-timers accepted if they have emergency room experience 2. Cases: General Emergency Department (Combined Adult/Pedi); patient diagnoses include all; 130 visits per day; 37 rooms/beds 3. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS required; CPI and TNCC preferred; MUSC only accepts American Heart Association (AHA) certifications 4. License: SC or Multi-State/Compact RN license required 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic experience required 7. Shifts/Call: 3x12 nights (7p-7a); every other weekend required; on-call not applicable; float required to meet needs of facility and department 8.
