- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required 2. Cases: Labor and Delivery unit with 250-300 deliveries a month; 12 labor rooms; 2 ORs; 2 PACU beds; 4 AP rooms; 3 OBT rooms; high risk patients 3. Certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, NRP required; ACLS, BLS, and PALS courses must be through American Heart Association (AHA) 4. License: VA Licenses required to be in hand at submittal or provide proof of compact license 5. Education: NIH and stroke education required for RNs at all acute care hospitals under Riverside Health 6. EMR: Epic experience required for all acute care hospitals under Riverside Health 7. Shifts/Call: 1 call shift per month required; floating may be requested based on facility needs 8. RTO: Keep to minimum, preferably no requests for calendar week off during assignment and no more than 7 days total; must be in initial submission; no additional RTO requests approved after offer given 9. Returning Staff: Prior permanent employees must be gone for at least 6 months before being hired for travel; cannot work both Riverside Travel assignments and Riverside Per Diem contracts simultaneously 10.
