- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required; unit will NOT accept first-time travelers 2. Cases: Not specified 3. Certifications: BLS, ARRT required 4. License: NC or Compact license required in hand at time of start 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic experience required 7. Shifts/Call: 1830-0700 Sun/Mon/Tues; no call requirement 8. RTO: Can auto approve 7 days or less (not on holidays); must work 2 out of 3 major holidays; no RTO during first week due to orientation 9. Returning Staff: Previous PERM/PRN/EP staff must wait 12 months; facility rehire approval needed 10. Travel/Local: Candidates under 50 miles offered lower local rate 11. Background: Not specified 12. Modules: Non-billable; acute care roles 8-10 hours, non-acute roles 4-5 hours; must be completed pre-start and annually via online learning, Zoom, webinar, and in-person classes 13.
