- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required; 1 year minimum with possible exceptions depending on unit 2. Cases: Medical ICU, Stroke, Sepsis, Renal Failure, Respiratory Failure, Substance withdrawal 3. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIHSS required; AHA only certifications accepted 4. License: Valid PA License or Compact License required at submission 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Cerner experience preferred 7. Shifts/Call: Patient ratio 2:1 days/nights/weekends; weekend coverage required 8. RTO: Two pre-approved; required to work every other holiday 9. Returning Staff: Permanent employees cannot return as traveler unless in different specialty 10. Travel/Local: Local candidates accepted at travel rate; float within hospital and to sister facilities within 10-mile radius 11.
