- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years minimum required; unit will NOT accept 1st time travelers 2. Cases: Abdomen, pelvis, head and neck, spine, musculoskeletal, diffusion (non-brain), gradient echo imaging, MIP, MRP, peripheral magnetic resonance, spin echo images, surface coils, T1 and T2, CINE; preferred: chest, image post-processing 3. Certifications: BLS and ARRT required 4. License: NC or Compact license pending OK for submission, required in hand at time of start 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic experience required 7. Shifts/Call: Thursday 10:30a-11p, Friday 6:30p-7a, Saturday 6:30p-7a; no call requirement, no float requirement 8. RTO: Auto approve 7 days or less if not on holiday; anything more requires facility approval; must work 2 out of 3 major holidays; no RTO during first week due to orientation; RTO after booking not allowed 9. Returning Staff: Previous Novant Health or New Hanover employees must wait 12 months before applying as traveler; facility rehire approval needed; current travel Per Diem clinicians ineligible 10. Travel/Local: Permanent address under 50 miles offered at lower local rate 11. Background: Not specified 12. Modules: Non-billable; Acute Care roles 8-10 hours, Non-Acute roles 4-5 hours; must be completed pre-start and annually; recorded via online learning, Zoom, webinar, and in-person classes 13.
