Requirements

- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required 2. Cases: Daily caseload up to 20 patients; orthopedic exams; X-Ray procedures including extremities, spine/pelvis, head, chest/thorax, musculoskeletal, lower and upper extremities 3. Certifications: IV Certification (mandatory), BLS, ARRT CT, ARRT R, Department of Health New York; copies required; hard copy of license or tech cert required within 48 hours of signing 4. License: NYS License required; NY license must be in hand or ETA on issue date 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic experienced preferred but not required 7. Shifts/Call: Midnight to 8:30AM Monday to Friday with 30 minute lunch; first 2 weeks day training required 8. RTO: 5 days or less for Aya offers 9. Returning Staff: NYU permanent staff must wait 1 year period before eligible to return as traveler 10. Travel/Local: Locals accepted at same rate 11. Background: Policy evaluated on case by case basis 12. Modules: Not specified 13. Travel Experience: Unit accepts first time travelers 14. Scrubs: Charcoal Grey 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required - No Exemptions 16. Special Equipment: Siemens equipment experience preferred; ability to lift, push, pull, or move patients and equipment in excess of 150 pounds required Critical: EKG testing required within 72 hours of signing for certain units. 2 managerial references required (Charge RN not acceptable). Experience operating Siemens equipment preferred.
