Requirements

- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 1.5 years required for submission 2. Cases: Pediatric feeding disorder, oral aversion, feeding difficulties, dysphagia, ARFID, failure to thrive, autism, developmental delay, motor delay, fine motor delay, sensory processing difficulties, varied genetic and developmental diagnoses 3. Certifications: BLS (AHA), NBCOT required 4. License: CA OT License required in hand or ETA needed; eligible to obtain if licensed in another state (takes 6-8 weeks); may use 60 day rule to practice while obtaining CA license 5. Education: Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from AOTA accredited program, OR Bachelor's Degree in Occupational Therapy from AOTA accredited program if graduated prior to 2004 6. EMR: Epic preferred 7. Shifts/Call: 4x10s 0800-1830 Mon, Tues, Thurs, Fri; no on-call requirements 8. RTO: 6 days max; traveler required to work 2 out of 3 holidays 9. Returning Staff: Permanent staff need to wait a year to be eligible to travel 10. Travel/Local: 50-mile local radius; locals not accepted 11. Background: Not specified 12. Modules: Non-billable, up to 10 hours to complete pre-start; do not count as orientation hours 13. Travel Experience: First-timer travelers accepted 14. Scrubs: Any color 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required - no exemptions 16. Special Equipment: Not specified Critical: Brief statement on traveler's pediatric feeding experience required at submission.
