Requirements

- 1+ years of experience
- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required; 2 years in neuro setting specifically required 2. Cases: Ischemic strokes (post-thrombectomy, post-tPA), neuromuscular disorders, seizure disorders, CNS infections, hemorrhagic strokes, subdural/epidural hematomas, ICP monitoring (EVDs/bolts), neurotrauma (GSW, MVC, spinal cord injuries) 3. Certifications: ACLS, BCLS, NIH required; TNCC and BSN preferred; 10 hours stroke education required; All RNs required to obtain ACLS by compliance deadline 4. License: Valid state license required at time of submission; Missouri requires MO license or compact license; Compact license must match permanent residence state 5. Education: BSN preferred 6. EMR: Epic experience preferred; Epic is the charting system throughout BJC system 7. Shifts/Call: Every other weekend required; No on-call required; Can sign for 36 or 48 hours per week 8. RTO: No more than 7 days RTO per 13 week contract; No RTO first week of assignment; RTO must be on submittal and cannot be changed 9. Returning Staff: Permanent employees must wait 1 year before returning as traveler; Standard travelers can stay 18 months then take 3 month break 10. Travel/Local: No local candidates accepted within 75 mile radius 11. Background: No medical marijuana cards accepted 12. Modules: Billable up to 16 hours at $20/hr; completed pre-start through WorkRamp; must be started within 1 week of signed contract and completed 2 Fridays prior to start date 13. Travel Experience: Not specified as required 14. Scrubs: Navy Blue 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required - Medical/Religious Exemptions Only 16. Special Equipment: EVD, bolt Critical: Must pass Relias EKG exam; Will float within service line; Labs must be completed within 48-72 hours of signing; Looking for candidates with Comprehensive Stroke Center experience; Patient ratios 1:2 all shifts
