Requirements

- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required for submission 2. Cases: Telemetry/step-down experience required 3. Certifications: ACLS, BLS required; ACLS required by compliance deadline for RNs 4. License: Valid state license required at time of submission; MO license or compact license required; Illinois requires license in hand at submission 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: EPIC experience required for certain units; EPIC is the charting system throughout BJC system 7. Shifts/Call: Every other weekend required (Saturday and Sunday); no on-call required; ratios 1:4-5 8. RTO: No more than 7 days per 13-week contract; no RTO first week; must be on submittal and cannot be changed 9. Returning Staff: Permanent employees must wait 1 year before returning as traveler; standard travelers can stay 18 months then take 3-month break 10. Travel/Local: No local candidates within 75-mile radius accepted 11. Background: No medical marijuana cards accepted 12. Modules: Billable up to 16 hours at $20/hr; completed pre-start through WorkRamp; must start within 1 week of signed contract and complete 2 Fridays prior to start date 13. Travel Experience: Not specified as required 14. Scrubs: Navy Blue 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required - Medical/Religious Exemptions Only 16.
