- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years of ICU experience required; Medical, Surgical, and Trauma ICU experience required; inpatient RN travelers must have completed two years of acute care experience within the last 3 years in the specialty 2. Cases: Medical, Surgical, and Trauma ICU cases 3. Certifications: BLS and ACLS required - AHA only; must be in hand at submittal 4. License: WI RN or compact RN license required; must be in hand at submittal 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic experience required 7. Shifts/Call: Evening/Night, 12-hour shifts, 1900-0730, with every other weekend rotation and some holidays; patient ratios 2:1 for days, nights, and weekends 8. RTO: Generally no more than 2 weeks off in a contract; if request is more than 1 week consecutive, Vaya will add 1 week at end of contract; weekend rotations and some holidays required 9. Returning Staff: Not specified 10. Travel/Local: 50 miles from facility; locals are not accepted 11. Background: Not specified 12. Modules: Telemetry exam required prior to start with strict passing criteria - 100% identification of lethal rhythms, no incorrect answers on 3rd degree heart blocks, 80% passing score; two attempts allowed 13.
