- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years in acute hospital required with ICU background highly preferred 2. Cases: Colonoscopy, EGD, therapeutic cases, pediatric cases; portable/bedside travel cases required 3. Certifications: ACLS, BLS required; conscious sedation certification highly preferred 4. License: Compact accepted, pending license not accepted 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic experience required - HARDSTOP 7. Shifts/Call: 4x10 days (0830-1900 or 0730-1800); 1-2 weekend/holiday call shifts per month 8. RTO: No more than 6 days; minimal RTO, cannot accommodate during first 2 weeks 9. Returning Staff: Prior UW staff requires 18 months separation 10. Travel/Local: Locals accepted at same bill rate; candidates float within hospital 11. Background: Must disclose any hits when submitted 12. Modules: 5-6 hours for RN, non-billable, completed pre-start; additional 6 hours if WA suicide prevention training required 13. Travel Experience: Not specified as required 14. Scrubs: Facility provided as needed or your own solid color 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Unknown 16. Special Equipment: ProVation, Epic, Olympus EVIS-Exera processors, Olympus 160-190 series scopes, ERBE, travel cart, BCMA, OER-Elite Olympus reprocessors Critical: Sedation experience required - redirect if none. Tele required with proficiency in interpretation and management of dysrhythmias including Relias test. Must be comfortable functioning independently in tech role. Float required within endoscopy procedural and pre/post area. Two references required at submittal.
