- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years acute hospital required; ICU background highly preferred; sedation experience required 2. Cases: Colonoscopy, EGD, therapeutic cases, pediatric cases occasionally; portable/bedside travel cases required 3. Certifications: ACLS, BLS required; conscious sedation certification highly preferred 4. License: Compact License or WA single state required 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic required - HARDSTOP 7. Shifts/Call: 4x10 Days (0830-1900 or 0730-1800); 1-2 weekend/holiday call shifts per month 8. RTO: No more than 6 days; cannot accommodate RTO during orientation week 9. Returning Staff: Prior UW staff must be separated for 18 months before returning as traveler 10. Travel/Local: Locals accepted with no difference in bill rate 11. Background: Must disclose any background hits, DUIs at time of submission 12. Modules: RN 5-6 hours non-billable pre-start; Epic module during orientation (billable) 13. Travel Experience: Not specified 14. Scrubs: Facility provided as needed or solid color 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Unknown 16. Special Equipment: ProVation, Epic, Olympus EVIS-Exera processors, Olympus 160-190 series scopes, ERBE, travel cart Critical: Must be experienced in conscious sedation, float within endoscopy areas, proficient in dysrhythmias interpretation (Relias test required), and comfortable functioning independently in tech role. Two supervisory references required upon submittal.
