- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years minimum required 2. Cases: Diagnostic Cardiac Cath Lab; Interventional Cardiac Cath Lab; Cardiac Stent Placement; Diagnostic Catheterizations Adult; IABP Placement/Removal; Impella insertion; Interventional Catheterizations; Left heart catheterization; Percutaneous Coronary Interventions (PCI); Pulmonary Artery Line/Swan Ganz monitoring; Right heart catheterization; Rotablator atherectomy; Scrub Procedures (Cardiac Cath Lab) 3. Certifications: ACLS; BLS required 4. License: NC or Compact license required in hand at time of start 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic is most common; charting experience preferred 7. Shifts/Call: 10 hr x 4 days a week 0730-1800, some early shifts 0630-1700; 1 night call per week 8. RTO: Can auto approve 7 days or less if not on holiday; must work 2 out of 3 major holidays; no RTO during first week due to orientation 9. Returning Staff: Previous PERM/PRN/EP staff must wait 12 months before applying as traveler; facility rehire approval needed 10. Travel/Local: Candidates under 50 miles offered lower local rate; locals accepted 11. Background: Not specified 12. Modules: Non-billable; Acute Care roles 8-10 hours, Non-Acute roles 4-5 hours; must be completed pre-start and annually via online learning, Zoom, webinar, and in-person classes 13. Travel Experience: Not required 14. Scrubs: Provided by facility 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required - Medical/Religious Exemptions Only 16.
