- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 1 year required; 18 months experience required per compliance notes 2. Cases: Interventional cases (not IR), STEMI required; EP and TAVR experience preferred; Ablations, Peripherals, Upper and Lower Extremity preferred 3. Certifications: ARRT(R), ACLS, BLS required 4. License: Must be in hand prior to start date; temporary licenses obtainable once permanent license applications submitted 5. Education: University must be accredited by ACEN or CCNE at time of graduation 6. EMR: Cerner charting; McKesson experience preferred; no specific charting required for IU health positions 7. Shifts/Call: 4x10s dayshift; on-call required 10-12 shifts per month with 30-minute response time; call duration 12-14 hours 8. RTO: Can auto-approve 5 days non-holiday RTO; must work 2 out of 3 major holidays; must work 1 winter holiday 9. Returning Staff: IU PERM or PRN employees must be away 12 months before applying as traveler; consecutive contract policy requires designated break after 12 months 10. Travel/Local: IN residents considered local; locals accepted for this position at in-state rate with lower BR; out-of-state residents require 3-month break, in-state residents require 6-month break 11.
