Requirements

- 1+ years of experience
- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 1 year required (18 months exp. required per general policy) 2. Cases: Must have interventional cases (not IR), STEMI experience required; EP and TAVR experience preferred; Ablations, Peripherals, Upper and Lower Extremity preferred 3. Certifications: ARRT(R), ACLS, BLS required 4. License: Must be in hand prior to start date; temporary licenses obtainable once permanent license applications submitted 5. Education: University must be accredited by ACEN or CCNE at time of graduation 6. EMR: Cerner charting; McKesson experience preferred; no specific charting required for IU health positions 7. Shifts/Call: 4x10s Dayshift; 10-12 call shifts per month required with 30-minute response time; call duration 12-14 hours 8. RTO: Auto-approve 5 days non-holiday RTO; must work 2 out of 3 major holidays; must work 1 winter holiday 9. Returning Staff: Any PERM or PRN employee must be away 12 months before applying as traveler; consecutive contract policy requires designated break after 12 months 10. Travel/Local: IN residents considered local; locals accepted at lower rate for Surgical Services, Allied positions, IU Clinics; locals not accepted for MS, MS Tele, PCU, ICU, ER positions 11.
