Requirements

- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years minimum required; structural heart scrub experience absolutely required 2. Cases: Balloon Angioplasty, PCI, Stents, Thrombectomy, Impella insertion, Left & Right Heart Catheterization, Rotablader; complex PCIs, Watchman Procedures, Septal Closure, Ablations preferred 3. Certifications: ACLS, BLS required; must have at least one: RCIS OR ARRT 4. License: NC or Compact license required in hand at time of start 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: EPIC, MAC Lab 7. Shifts/Call: 40 hours, 4x10-hour days Monday-Friday 07:00-17:30; call requirement with callback and weekend call required 9-11 days in 6-week schedule with 1-2 weekends 8. RTO: Auto approve 7 days or less if not on holiday; more requires facility approval; must work 2 out of 3 major holidays; no RTO during first week due to orientation; RTO after booking NOT allowed 9. Returning Staff: Previous employees must wait 12 months; must disclose previous employment; facility rehire approval needed 10. Travel/Local: Under 50 miles offered lower local rate; floating within hospital or to affiliate hospitals required 11. Background: Not specified 12. Modules: Non-billable; Acute Care 8-10 hours, Non-Acute 4-5 hours; completed pre-start and annually via online learning, Zoom, webinar, in-person classes 13.
