Requirements

- 1+ years of experience
- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required for submission; MUST BE 2 YEARS in NEURO ICU, NO LESS 2. Cases: Neuro Intensive Care Unit; stroke patients (ischemic, hemorrhagic SAH), SDH, craniotomies, carotid stents, carotid endarterectomies, aneurysm coiling/clipping, seizures, depth electrodes, myasthenia gravis 3. Certifications: ACLS, BCLS, NIH required; must pass EKG testing prior to start 4. License: NC or Compact license pending OK for submission, required in hand at time of start 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic experience required 7. Shifts/Call: 12 hour nights 18:45-07:15; no call requirement; every other weekend; float requirement YES 8. RTO: 7 days MAX for auto approval; no RTO first week due to orientation; must work 2 out of 3 major holidays; RTO after booking NOT allowed 9. Returning Staff: Previous employees must wait 12 months before applying as traveler; facility rehire approval needed 10. Travel/Local: Candidates under 50 miles offered lower local rate; will NOT accept 1st time travelers 11. Background: Not specified 12. Modules: Non-billable; acute care roles 8-10 hours; must be completed pre-start via online learning, Zoom, webinar, and in-person classes 13. Travel Experience: Required; will NOT accept 1st time travelers 14. Scrubs: Navy blue & White 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required - Medical/Religious Exemptions Only 16.
