Requirements
- Required certification: Case Management
- 1+ years of experience
- Active California RN license required before start
- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 3 years required, 5 preferred 2. Cases: ED with most services offered; no trauma, no burn; peds/babies transferred out; tertiary level care including STEMI and NS transferred to HLOC 3. Certifications: BLS, MAB required; certs required at time of submittal 4. License: Valid CA License required at time of submission 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Meditech experience preferred 7. Shifts/Call: Every other weekend required; weekend coverage true; block scheduling 8. RTO: Always needs facility approval; two pre-approved time off 9. Returning Staff: If previous perm traveler, 1 year and needs facility approval 10. Travel/Local: Travelers within 50 miles not accepted 11. Background: Candidates with license hits accepted case by case; facility must be informed with submission 12. Modules: Modules not required 13. Travel Experience: Seasoned traveler preferred but first timer OK with good experience 14. Scrubs: Navy blue scrubs required (not provided) 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required with medical/religious exemptions and declinations allowed 16. Special Equipment: Not specified Critical: Labs must be completed within 24 hours of signing contract. Two supervisor references preferred. COVID-19 vaccine required plus booster with medical/religious exemptions only.
