Requirements
- Required certification: Case Management
- 1+ years of experience
- Active California RN license required before start
- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 3 years minimum required, 5 years preferred 2. Cases: ED with most services offered; peds/babies transferred out; tertiary level care including STEMI and NS transferred to HLOC; no trauma; no burn 3. Certifications: BLS and MAB required; copies required at time of submittal 4. License: Valid CA License required at time of submission 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Meditech experience preferred 7. Shifts/Call: Every other weekend required; block scheduling; patient ratios 1:1 days/nights/weekends 8. RTO: Two pre-approved time off periods; always needs facility approval 9. Returning Staff: If previous permanent traveler, 1 year gap required and needs facility approval 10. Travel/Local: Travelers within 50 miles are not accepted 11. Background: License hits accepted case by case basis; facility must be informed of hits with submission 12. Modules: Modules are not required 13. Travel Experience: Seasoned traveler preferred but first timer OK with good experience 14. Scrubs: Navy blue scrubs required (not provided by hospital) 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required with medical/religious exemptions and declinations allowed 16. Special Equipment: Not specified Critical: Labs must be completed within 24 hours of signing contract. 2 supervisor references preferred. COVID-19 vaccine required plus booster with medical/religious exemptions only. 30 orientation hours. Travel pairs accepted.
