Requirements

- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years of prior experience required; first timers accepted 2. Cases: Chronic wounds, diabetic wounds, pressure wounds, vascular wounds, non-healing surgical wounds, slow-healing wounds 3. Certifications: BLS required, WTA Cert preferred 4. License: Nebraska RN License required; takes 4-6 weeks to obtain; if not in hand at submission, start date will be six weeks out 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: EPIC charting experience required 7. Shifts/Call: Mon-Fri; 8am - 4:30p; No weekends, no holidays, no call required; 4 weekend shifts out of 8 possible in a 4-week period 8. RTO: Must be submitted with application; additional requests after confirmation at manager discretion; up to two weeks allowed; no RTO during first week of orientation 9. Returning Staff: Not specified 10. Travel/Local: Must be more than 100 miles from facility; locals NOT accepted 11. Background: Not specified 12. Modules: Mandatory charting class the Friday of orientation week 13. Travel Experience: Not specified as required 14. Scrubs: MANDATORY - RNs wear Steele gray scrubs with Nebraska Medicine logo; facility also sells gray T-shirts 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Not required 16. Special Equipment: Must have wound vac experience required Critical: 100% NICOTINE FREE FACILITY - contract at risk for immediate termination if nicotine use suspected.
