Requirements

- 1+ years of experience
- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: Minimum 2 years required (5 years preferred) 2. Cases: Adult and pediatric echos, TEEs, Stress echos 3. Certifications: ARDMS, BLS, and RDCS required; AHA and Red Cross only, RQI cards not accepted 4. License: Must have IL license in hand at submission 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Cerner experience required 7. Shifts/Call: Mix of 8 & 10 hour days, call every 4-5 weekends, usually evening/night call once a week 8. RTO: Can auto-approve 5 or less days of non-holiday RTO; anything more requires facility approval; must work 2 out of 3 major holidays 9. Returning Staff: Previous permanent/PRN candidates must be separated for 12 months before applying as traveler 10. Travel/Local: Locals accepted for all units except OR RN (must be 50+ miles for OR RN specialty) 11. Background: Background check hits must be noted upon submission for approval prior to offer 12. Modules: Non-billable up to 16 hours, completed pre-start, renewed annually; strict deadlines with push if not completed by 4PM CST on Day 1 13. Travel Experience: Yes, travel experience required 14. Scrubs: Provided for this role 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required (medical/religious exemptions only) 16. Special Equipment: Siemens experience preferred Critical: Must arrive 3 business days prior to start for fingerprinting. Must be able to float within hospital or to affiliate hospitals. Specific echo skills required for both adult and pediatric patients.
