- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 1 year required; must be proficient in abdominal doppler imaging 2. Cases: Varies daily caseload 3. Certifications: BLS and ARDMS or ARRT (S) certification required 4. License: SC State ultrasound licensure not required; SC license prioritized but pending applications considered 5. Education: Graduated from an accredited school of Diagnostic Medical Sonography required 6. EMR: Epic 7. Shifts/Call: 3x12s Monday-Thursday 8p-630a with holiday rotation; no call required 8. RTO: All RTO must be included at time of submission; 7 days or less non-holiday RTO for auto offers; approval based on facility needs 9. Returning Staff: Previous permanent staff (including PRN) must be separated from MUSC system for 1 year before returning as traveler 10. Travel/Local: 60-mile radius rule; locals considered case-by-case at 10% less than posted bill rate; non-locals prioritized 11. Background: Not specified 12. Modules: Average 4 hours, non-billable, included in NBO hours, completed pre-start 13. Travel Experience: First-timers not accepted unless from large teaching facility; must have completed prior assignment 14. Scrubs: Teal tops and black bottoms 15.
