Requirements

- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 1 year required for submission 2. Cases: 2-D Echo, 3-D Echo, Bubble Study, Color Doppler, Imaging with Definity contrast agent, Transesophageal Echo (TEE); Calculations include Simpson's Rule, Diastology, LV Strain/LV Volume, Proximal Isovelocity Surface Area; Structural Heart Program experience preferred 3. Certifications: ARDMS, BLS, CCI, RDCS required; Either specialty cert accepted; must be from American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS) 4. License: Valid Michigan RN License required; strong adult sonography experience with registry required (RDCS or CCI) 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: McKesson preferred 7. Shifts/Call: 10D/40W (08:00-18:30) or 8D/40W (08:00-16:30); 40 guaranteed hours per week; after-hours standby one day per weekday (M-F) and every fourth to fifth weekend rotation in conjunction with call requirement 8. RTO: No holidays required; two pre-approved time off noted 9. Returning Staff: 6-month return staff policy 10. Travel/Local: Locals accepted at same rate; no radius restrictions; float limited to Bronson Methodist Hospital (BMH) inpatient and outpatient settings only — no travel to different facilities 11. Background: Must disclose any background hits prior to submission; note on profile and on submission 12. Modules: 8 hours, non-billable; completed during orientation and annually; self-reported 13.
