- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required; pediatric echo experience specifically required — at least 1 year full-time averaging 20 echoes/week, or 4-5 years part-time averaging 4-5 echoes/week; approximately 1,000 echoes total to ensure exposure to congenital abnormalities 2. Cases: Pediatric echo using extensive pediatric protocol with anatomical views in Subxiphoid, Parasternal, Suprasternal, Right Parasternal, and Apical views; preferred skills include EP, Structural Heart, MacLab, Xper; skills listed include 3-D Echo, Bubble Study, GE, Imaging with Contrast Agents, Pharmacologic Stress Echo, Siemens 3. Certifications: BLS required; ACLS required; ARRT required; ARDMS required; CCI required; CCI RCCS required; AZ Fingerprint Clearance Card required; ARDMS or CCI acceptable 4. License: AZ Fingerprint Clearance Card required; state-specific releases required if candidate has lived/worked in GA, NV, NH, MA, Puerto Rico, or Virgin Islands 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Cerner preferred; Cerner is most common charting system 7. Shifts/Call: 4x10 Mon-Thurs 0700-1730; on-call required 1730-0700 Monday night through Friday AM; weekends as needed; guaranteed 40 hours/week; facility may call off up to 6 times during a 13-week assignment 8. RTO: Unit manager approval required; up to 5 days may be auto-approved for ICU, MS/TELE, PCU specialties if not on a holiday; candidate must work 2 out of 3 holidays (New Year's Day, Memorial Day Weekend, 4th of July Weekend, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day); no RTO during first week of assignment 9. Returning Staff: Any previous PERM/PRN/EP staff of Northern Arizona Healthcare must wait 12 months before applying as a traveler; must note prior employment in submission packet; facility rehire approval required before any offer can proceed; return travelers ineligible if they cancelled a prior contract within 10 days of start date at NAH 10. Travel/Local: Locals not accepted; candidates may float within hospital or to an affiliate hospital nearby; floating is expected based on skill set and census with no restrictions or special requests; ER unit does not accept travel pairs; travel pairs allowed on all other units and must be called out at time of submission; submissions limited to top 3 choices only 11. Background: Candidates who have lived/worked in GA, NV, NH, MA, Puerto Rico, or Virgin Islands must complete required state releases promptly to avoid delays; international searches not required 12.
