- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 1 year required for submission 2. Cases: SPM knowledge required; all modalities of sterilization except ETO; extensive scope and instrument reprocessing experience including AER, HLD, endoscopes, bronchoscopes, robotics (Da Vinci Si, SP, Xi), TEE probes, and multiple surgical specialties (Ortho, Neuro, OB/GYN, Urology, Vascular, Cardiac, Transplant, Trauma, and more) 3. Certifications: BLS required; CBSPD, CBSPD C.A.S.S.P.T, CBSPD C.F.E.R., CBSPD C.S.P.M, CSPDT, IAHCSMM/HSPA required; must be AHA or American Red Cross 4. License: OR license required; may submit with it pending 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic required 7. Shifts/Call: Variable days; shift is 0700-1730; Sundays required; no on-call; no block schedules; 48 hours not approved; ratio 1:1; no floating between units 8. RTO: 6 days total or 3 consecutive days can be auto-approved; anything beyond 6 days may delay offer pending client approval; must commit to working 3 of 5 holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day); all RTO must be requested up front at time of submittal 9. Returning Staff: 3 months required between permanent and travel; must disclose any previous work at a Providence facility (location and dates); candidate must answer: "Have you ever worked at a Providence facility as a permanent employee, on a travel contract, or as registry/per-diem?" 10. Travel/Local: 50-mile radius rule; locals accepted at lower bill rate; must have a vehicle for this assignment; travelers may be expected to float to sister facilities nearby — refusal may result in termination and/or forfeiture of guaranteed hours 11. Background: Any background hits must be sent for approval prior to submission 12. Modules: Non-billable; average 16 hours; over 20 hours requires PM approval; completed pre-start and annually; self-reported and recorded in Workramp transcripts 13.
