- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: Pediatric experience REQUIRED; minimum 2 years of specialty experience for most positions 2. Cases: Feeding and swallowing/dysphagia required; pediatric SLP with feeding and swallowing skills required; works with children with dysphagia and other feeding difficulties; multidisciplinary and individual evaluations; full range of individual and group diagnostic and rehabilitative services 3. Certifications: BLS, CCC-SLP, Sequential Oral Sensory (SOS) Certification required; COVID-19 Vaccine Required + Booster, no exemptions, current booster required 4. License: Valid state license required at time of submission; for DC locations, must apply for DC license within 24-48 hours of signing; pending license accepted only with date of application and proof/screenshot with pending license number; active license required before start date; for MD locations, must have compact or MD license; for VA locations, must have compact or VA license 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Cerner preferred 7. Shifts/Call: No weekends; no holidays (one holiday guaranteed, possible second dependent on facility needs; every other weekend/holiday required for most units); scheduling type listed as Other; day ratio 5, nights and weekends 0 8.
