Requirements
- Required certification: RRT - Registered Respiratory Therapist
- 1+ years of experience
- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 1 year minimum acute experience required 2. Cases: High risk experience preferred; open to high risk training on site if no experience; assist in high risk delivery 3. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, OH RRT license required; must be AHA certifications; copies required at submission 4. License: OH RRT License must be in hand to submit 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic experience required 7. Shifts/Call: Weekend coverage required; floating required as needed within Metro Region between Toledo, Flower, Bay Park Hospitals including mid-shift floating 8. RTO: If requesting more than 7 days, defer to manager for approval; no holidays or eves/days after holidays; two pre-approved time off allowed 9. Returning Staff: Must be gone 1 year for permanent staff 10. Travel/Local: 50-mile radius; locals not accepted 11. Background: Ohio FBI/BCI results take 4-6 weeks; cannot start with results pending; fingerprinting required for certain units 12. Modules: First 4 hours non-billable; exceeding 4 hours billable up to 8 additional hours; completed during orientation and annually 13. Travel Experience: Unit accepts first-time travelers 14. Scrubs: Grey scrub color 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required - medical/religious exemptions only 16. Special Equipment: Ventilator experience preferred - Servo I, Avea, Bella Vista Critical: Must obtain NRP prior to start date. Must be comfortable with all age groups including pediatrics. Two references from last 24 months required. One submission only allowed.
