- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 5 years of critical care experience required; 2-3 years in NICU with experience in neonatal intubation required 2. Cases: NICU (Level III); neonatal intubation experience required; neonatal transports on occasion 3. Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP all required; ACLS, PALS, and NRP required at time of hire or within 90 days; RRT (NBRC-RRT) preferred; CRT (NBRC-CRT) preferred; RCP license required 4. License: Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license required; facility is in California (San Luis Obispo) 5. Education: Graduate of an approved Respiratory Therapy Program required 6.
