- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 3 years required; acute, trauma, ED, and critical care experience required; community hospital experience required; Trauma Level I experience preferred; must be able to work alone in a critical access hospital 2. Cases: Adult Critical Care, Emergency Department, and Pediatrics required; NICU and Pediatric Critical Care preferred; full skills list includes ventilator management, aerosol therapy, intubation assist, ABG interpretation, bronchoscopy, nitric oxide, oscillating ventilator, HFNC, BiPAP, CPAP, tracheostomy care, and more 3. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS, RRT required; copies of all certs must be sent at time of submission 4. License: Pending license accepted; map directions from traveler's permanent address (address on license) to contracted facility required at time of submission 5. Education: Full degree information required — area of study, city and state of institution, and type of degree for all degrees earned 6. EMR: Epic required; strongly preferred; willing to consider no Epic experience for difficult-to-fill positions 7. Shifts/Call: Block schedule; weekend coverage required — minimum every other weekend, may include more based on operational need; on-call is voluntary only; clinician will float to all 4 campus locations (Bend, Redmond, Prineville, Madras) 8. RTO: 7-day restriction; only one pre-approved time off 9. Returning Staff: Candidates who cancel with less than 14 days notice will be entered as a system DNR 10. Travel/Local: Locals not accepted; 75-mile radius rule; proof of address and map directions from permanent address to facility required at submission 11. Background: 7 years of work history required (8/2015-present), including PTO, medical leave, non-clinical work, schooling, etc.; zero 30+ day employment gaps allowed 12. Modules: Non-billable if completed within first 8 hours of orientation; completed during orientation; vary by specialty; required annually 13. Travel Experience: Required; first-timers not accepted 14. Scrubs: Not specified 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required — medical and religious exemptions only 16.
