- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required; will accept first-time travelers with strong peds and NICU-focused skillset/experience comfortable in all RRT settings, including adults 2. Cases: Critical Care Respiratory Therapy with NICU being primary focus - smallest baby in this care area requiring care is 22 weeks; Level 3 and/or 4 NICU experience required; Pediatrics/PICU required; ER, Level 1 Trauma, Med/Surge intensive care units in adult care settings required 3. Certifications: ACLS, BLS, NRP, PALS, RRT required; BLS/ACLS/PALS must be AHA ONLY; NRP or AAP accepted; CPI Certificate required for most units (Calm Every Storm online version only acceptable online vendor) 4. License: Must have an active MD or Compact License at time of submission 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic preferred 7. Shifts/Call: 3x12-Hour nights (19:00 - 07:30); holidays required as they fall; every other weekend required; on-call not required 8. RTO: Max 7 days can be requested; if more than 4 consecutive days, an additional week must be added to back end on new contracts; one major holiday off during winter season allowed at most locations 9. Returning Staff: Former staff must be gone for 12 months before returning as traveler; return travelers must be away for at least 6 months from system after completion 10.
