Requirements

- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required for submission; 1 year rehab experience is a HARD STOP requirement 2. Cases: Stroke, Brain Injury, Spinal Cord Injury, Neurological disorders, Orthopedic Conditions, Pulmonary Conditions, Amputations of the lower extremity, Multi-trauma 3. Certifications: BLS required; copies required at submission; must be in hand 4. License: Valid CA RN License required; must be in hand at submission; pending license not accepted 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic experience required 7. Shifts/Call: Every other weekend required; call required depending on patient census; patient ratio 5:1 days, nights, and weekends; float possible to MS and ortho, and sister/affiliate facilities nearby (refusal to float may result in termination) 8. RTO: No more than 7 days; must be included at time of submission; only one pre-approved time off; traveler must be willing to work 2 out of 3 major holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year 9. Returning Staff: 3-month waiting period before returning as traveler 10. Travel/Local: 50-mile radius rule applies; locals accepted at lower bill rate; can only submit to 1 location within the region 11. Background: Not specified 12.
