- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required for submission 2. Cases: CABG, Valve post-op, Impella, IABP, CRRT required; Open Heart experience required; Cardiac surgeries, Thoracotomy, TR bands/Stents noted 3. Certifications: BLS and ACLS required through AHA; NIHSS and TNCC noted; must pass online EKG/tele competency assessment within 72 hours of signing 4. License: Valid Ohio RN License required; any active state RN license or compact license accepted for submission; candidates with any past license disciplinary action will not be accepted 5. Education: Associate's Degree in Nursing or BSN required 6. EMR: Epic required for all inpatient nursing roles 7. Shifts/Call: Must be available to work every other weekend/holiday; block scheduling cannot be guaranteed; traveler will be first to float at Premier's discretion, including float to other Premier campuses within 10-15 miles; Premier Health reserves the right to cancel 2 shifts per 13-week contract 8. RTO: Maximum of 14 days allowed per contract; must be submitted at time of initial submittal; no RTO will be added after offer is made; RTO approval at manager's discretion 9. Returning Staff: Any previous perm/PRN staff or prior agency traveler not extended due to tenure must wait 6 months before applying; must disclose prior employment (facility, unit, dates) in submission packet; facility rehire approval required before offer can proceed; failure to disclose may result in cancellation 10. Travel/Local: 50-mile local radius for Nursing; local travelers are not accepted 11. Background: Candidates with any past license disciplinary action will not be accepted; no additional background policy detailed 12. Modules: Up to 24 hours of orientation modules are billable 13.
