- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years minimum required for submission 2. Cases: 90% IR (Interventional Radiology); combo lab including IR, Cardiology, Vascular, and EP procedures; required skills include scrub and circulate IR/Cath Lab and cardiology procedures; preferred cases include Carotid Stenting, Left/Right Heart Catheterization, Renal Artery Stent Placement, Mesenteric Angiogram, Paracentesis, Thoracentesis, Ureteral Stent Placement, Kyphoplasties, Biopsies, Internal/External Biliary Drainage, Percutaneous Transhepatic Cholangiogram, Catheter/Drain Exchange; Device Implants: PPM, ICD 3. Certifications: Required: ACLS, BLS (BCLS), ARRT or RCIS; Preferred: ARRT Advanced Cert, RCES, RCIS with Med Experience 4. License: Not specified 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic preferred (listed under preferred special equipment) 7. Shifts/Call: 8-hour days, 07:30-16:00; 40 hours can be offered; call requirement of minimum 7 call days per month (two call days per week for two weeks each month, plus one call weekend per month); STEMI callback within 30 minutes; IR callback based on procedure type; call team consists of three staff members, one of whom must be an RN; every third weekend required; techs start directly on unit on Mondays until Dimensions Training is completed 8.
