Requirements

- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years required; Trauma Level I experience preferred 2. Cases: Vascular IR/Imaging Support in the OR; skills include Angioplasty, Carotid Stenting, Endovascular Interventions, EVAR, Hybrid OR, Interventional Radiology, TEVAR, Thrombolysis/Thrombectomy, Ultrasound, Upper and Lower Extremity Angiography, Vascular Closure Systems, Siemens, Special Procedures, Prep access site 3. Certifications: BLS and ARRT (VI) required; copies of required certifications must be included at submission 4. License: VA license required; pending license accepted but must be in-hand by the Wednesday before start date; eligible for temp license if licensed in another state; Nursys verification required at submission 5. Education: BSN preferred 6. EMR: Epic experience required unless otherwise noted 7. Shifts/Call: 8-hour days, 0730-1600; rotating call every 4th week; 40-hour orientation 8. RTO: Up to 40 hours guaranteed per 13-week contract; all RTO must be confirmed at submission; no additional RTO approved after acceptance; any vacation plans between sign date and start date must be communicated to Client Delivery Manager at submission 9. Returning Staff: Must inform Client Delivery Manager if previously employed at any University of Virginia Health system facility as permanent staff, internal, or external traveler; perm staff and internal travelers must be separated for one year and approved by UVA leadership; external travelers may not work more than 365 days on assignment regardless of time off between contracts 10. Travel/Local: 50-mile radius rule applies; locals not accepted for Imaging Support or Interventional Radiology units 11. Background: If aware of any background hits, must inform Client Delivery Manager prior to submission 12. Modules: Non-billable up to 16 hours; any time exceeding 16 hours is billable; completed during orientation; vary by specialty; recorded in Workday 13.
