- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2+ years required; 1 year of in-specialty experience required; first-timers accepted dependent on experience 2. Cases: Daily caseload of 10-15 cases per tech 3. Certifications: BLS/CPR required; ACLS required (must be AHA); CT and/or RVT preferred; ARRT required; copies must be listed on application at time of submittal 4. License: ARRT and WV State License required; WV or Compact License accepted; pending license accepted for submission but active WV license must be in hand to start 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Cerner (preferred per charting system experience note); Radiology Information System listed as charting 7. Shifts/Call: 4x10 Days, Tuesday-Friday, 7a-6p; no weekends; no call requirement; guaranteed 40 hrs/week; sometimes required to stay over 8. RTO: No RTO restrictions; discuss with manager in interview; RTO must be included at time of submittal 9. Returning Staff: Former permanent employees must wait 2 years from last permanent employment date before returning as a traveler; current Vandalia Health System employees (perm, PRN, etc.) are not eligible for travel contracts within the health system (includes CAMC Health Systems, Mon Health Systems, Davis Medical Center, Broaddus Hospital, Webster Memorial Hospital, Grafton City Hospital, Highland-Clarksburg Hospital, and Minnie Hamilton Health System) 10. Travel/Local: 100-mile radius rule; candidates between 75-100 miles may be considered on a case-by-case basis at the same rate; candidates must have a permanent address 100 miles from the facility 11. Background: Previous probationary actions on a license will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis 12. Modules: Non-billable; average completion time 2-6 hours; completed prior to start date; requirements vary by specialty 13. Travel Experience: Not specified as required 14. Scrubs: Surgical scrubs provided by the hospital 15. Flu Vaccine Requirements: Required; medical exemptions only (allergy must be documented by an allergist or physician); flu season is October 1 - March 31; not required outside that window; do not submit anyone who refuses without medical proof 16.
