- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 2 years minimum required 2. Cases: 30-40 patients per day; specialty treatments include Electron Field, Respiratory Gating/Breath Hold for Left Breast, Heterotopic Bone, Superior Vena Cava, Gynecomastia, Prophylactic Treatments; specialty cancers include Keloids, Prostate Cancer with Seeds/Fiducials 3. Certifications: BLS and ARRT (T) required 4. License: VA license required active/in-hand at time of submission; pending licenses rejected 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: ARIA required (EPIC preferred); must provide number of months of EPIC experience in past 1-year; all travelers must attend either accelerated or 2-day EPIC class 7. Shifts/Call: Mon-Fri 7-3:30; 5x8s; on-call only for some areas with 30 mile/30 min to campus requirement 8. RTO: Keep to minimum, preferably no calendar week off requests; must be in initial submission; approved at manager discretion; expect to work some holidays 9. Returning Staff: Previous VHC staff must wait one year before returning as traveler; if returning within 6 months can forgo EPIC class 10. Travel/Local: Not specified 11.
