- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 1 year required 2. Cases: Med/surg, cardiac, ortho, hips/knees/shoulders, post-surgical, COPD, CHF, pneumonia, CVA, falls, weakness, Parkinson's, failure to thrive, respiratory patients, neuro, trachs, trauma, AKA, BKA, ADLs; home health experience required; OASIS training preferred 3. Certifications: BLS required; must have valid driver's license 4. License: FL license or compact license required at time of submittal 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Charting system experience required; Cerner experience preferred; BayCare Forms, BayCare Scheduling, and Ace Timesheet documentation system used 7. Shifts/Call: Block scheduling; 6-8 home visits per day (minimum 6 points per day); self-scheduled based on HomeCare office needs; 1-2 weekend shifts per contract; Pass/Fail EKG exam (3 attempts) 8. RTO: No RTO allowed in BayCare contracts; any RTO is a deal breaker and will be sent as a screen for manager discussion 9. Returning Staff: Permanent employees must wait at least 1 year before returning to any BayCare facility as a traveler; return travelers currently only allowed in ICU, MICU, CVICU, ED, PCU, and MS/Tele specialties; must have completed a contract within the last year since 7/1/2022 10. Travel/Local: 100-mile radius rule in effect; traveler must live at least 100 miles from the facility; certain allied specialties exempt 11. Background: Not specified 12. Modules: Billable up to 4 hours for Allied; any time beyond 4 hours is non-billable; completed pre-start and annually; recorded by the facility 13. Travel Experience: Not specified as required 14.
