Travel Allied Physical Therapist (PT) Sacramento, CA

Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel – Physical Therapist SNF

Shift: Days, 8a-5p, 8×5, 40hrs per week
2 weekend shifts a month required

Duration: 17 weeks

Requirements:

• Active CA PT License
• 2 years of experience
• BLS (AHA)

Other Details:

• First to float
• Ability to work independently and perform transfers
• Excellent communication skills
• Works closely with interdisciplinary team
• Care setting: Post Acute / Skilled Nursing Facility
• Charting system: Cerner
• Patient load: 8-9 patients per day
• Common diagnoses: total joint replacements (TKA/THA), stroke/CVA, deconditioning, pneumonia, COPD, and balance difficulties; largely geriatric patients with chronic Ortho and Neuro conditions
• Will be trained to float to the inpatient acute care hospital (same parking lot)
• Coverage areas: A, B, C, and D stations
• New grad with 6 months experience considered if that experience is in acute care or skilled nursing (preferably skilled nursing)
