Epic Travel Staffing is hiring a Travel - Physical Therapist SNF

Shift: Days, 8a-5p, 8x5, 40hrs per week
2 weekend shifts a month required

Duration: 17 weeks

Requirements:

Active CA PT License
2 years of experience
BLS (AHA)

Other Details:

First to float
Ability to work independently and perform transfers
Excellent communication skills
Works closely with interdisciplinary team
Care setting: Post Acute / Skilled Nursing Facility
Charting system: Cerner
Patient load: 8-9 patients per day
Common diagnoses: total joint replacements (TKA/THA), stroke/CVA, deconditioning, pneumonia, COPD, and balance difficulties; largely geriatric patients with chronic Ortho and Neuro conditions
Will be trained to float to the inpatient acute care hospital (same parking lot)
Coverage areas: A, B, C, and D stations
New grad with 6 months experience considered if that experience is in acute care or skilled nursing (preferably skilled nursing)
