- Key Requirements Summary: 1. Experience: 1 year required; first-time travelers not accepted 2. Cases: Acute Care experience required 3. Certifications: BLS required 4. License: SC or Multi-State Compact Physical Therapist License required at start of contract; MUSC will consider pending license at submission with proof of application or confirmation of SC walk-through process; traveler will not be cleared until SC license is issued/active 5. Education: Not specified 6. EMR: Epic 7. Shifts/Call: 5x8s, 9:00am-5:30pm; no on-call required; no weekend requirement; holidays possibly required; facility may call off 1 shift per 2 weeks; float within scope or between sister facilities possibly required 8. RTO: All RTO must be submitted at time of submission; RTO after submission will not be accepted; auto-offer allowed for 7 days or less of non-holiday RTO; 7+ days or holiday RTO requires facility approval 9. Returning Staff: Previous perm or PRN staff must be separated from MUSC system for 1 year before returning as a traveler 10.
